These flame patina copper earrings have such an assortment of colors! Wear them by day or night, they are versatile and fashionable. I handcrafted these boho chic earrings from a sheet of 20 gauge copper. First I sanded, cleaned polished the metal, then I used a rolling mill to emboss the metal with a pattern that makes me think of dragon scales. I then used a jeweler’s saw to cut the triangle shapes, filed the edges smooth, drilled a hole and applied heat to create a unique, multicolored patina. Lastly, I applied a clear acrylic spray to preserve the color.
The rectangles are wire wrapped onto the ear wires, along with a sparkling and faceted Swarovski rondelle shaped bead in a copper color. Each facet on the beads catches the light, giving these earrings a bit of a twinkle.
The ear wires are made from niobium, a hypoallergenic material. Many people with metal allergies find this metal easy to wear. The wires also feature a pretty little copper ball on the front.
These flame patina copper earrings measure approx. 2-3/8′” in length from the top of the ear wires. These earrings are light weight and easy to wear. Please see the fifth photo to see a size comparison to a U.S. quarter coin.
The earrings will be sent on a Solana Kai Designs card and placed in tissue inside a complimentary decorative organza drawstring bag.
All orders shipped to a U.S. address are sent first class for a flat fee of $2.95 with orders of $100 or more receiving FREE shipping!

Please note: The colors in all of my creations look accurate on my computer. However, monitors can be calibrated differently, and therefore may look a bit lighter or darker on yours.
